How your load is picked up
Our trucks have a curtain-side body. The curtain slides open along the side of the truck, so a forklift can load pallets from the side as well as from the back. That saves time at the dock and keeps pallets in one piece.
If your site has a forklift or a loading dock, tell us when you ask for a quote. If it does not, tell us that too, and we will plan the pickup around it.
What makes a load ready for transport
Pallets should be wrapped and stable, with the heaviest items at the bottom. Loose items that can slide or fall off the side need to be boxed, crated or strapped together first. Nothing leaves the yard until it is secured.
Not sure how heavy it is? A rough figure is enough to get a quote, and our guide on estimating the weight of your load shows you how to get there.
