Privacy policy

Last updated: 11 October 2026

MDL Logistics ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). This policy explains what we collect on this website and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Quote requests. If you use our quote form, you type your name, phone number and the details of your load. The form does not send this to a server. It opens a WhatsApp message on your device, which you then choose to send to us.
  • Calls, WhatsApp and email. If you contact us directly, we receive the details you give us, such as your name, number and the job.
  • Chat assistant. The assistant on this site runs in your browser. What you type to it is not sent to our servers or to any third party. If you choose to send a quote request from the chat, it opens a WhatsApp message on your device, the same way the quote form does.
  • Website usage. We may use Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager and Google Ads conversion measurement to count visits and enquiries. These tools may set cookies and collect technical data such as your device, browser and approximate location.

How we use it

We use your details only to reply to your enquiry, give you a quote, and carry out the transport you ask for. We use usage data to understand how the website performs and to measure our advertising.

Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where needed to do the job, or where the law requires it. Messages sent over WhatsApp are handled by WhatsApp under its own terms and privacy policy.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry details for as long as we need them to deal with your request and for any business or legal records we must keep.

Your rights

Under POPIA you may ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, and to correct or delete it. You may also object to us processing it.

To use any of these rights, call 084 764 4391 or email mudumenelson82@gmail.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
